About This Program

What You'll Learn

Course Description

Guitar Classes start with the absolute fundamentals — holding the instrument, tuning, fretting clean notes, and your first open chords — so you are strumming simple songs within the first few weeks. We focus on building comfortable technique and a good ear from day one.

From there the course grows with you: barre chords, strumming and fingerpicking patterns, scales, lead and solo playing, and an introduction to songwriting and chord progressions. Whether you want to strum around a campfire, play lead, or write your own music, the path is structured yet flexible to your goals.

Key Benefits

  • Play your first open-chord songs within the first few weeks
  • Master strumming, fingerpicking, and rhythm patterns
  • Build finger strength and clean chord transitions
  • Learn scales and lead techniques for soloing
  • Explore songwriting and building your own chord progressions
FAQ

Frequently Asked
Questions

Still have questions? We're here to help you choose the right program for your journey.

01Should I buy an acoustic or electric guitar to learn on?
We recommend starting on acoustic to build finger strength and clean technique. The skills transfer directly to electric later. We can advise on a good beginner instrument.
02My fingers hurt when I press the strings. Is that normal?
Yes, sore fingertips are normal for the first couple of weeks until you build calluses. We teach proper technique to minimise strain, and it eases quickly.
03I'm an adult beginner. Am I too old to learn guitar?
Not at all. Adults often progress quickly because they practise deliberately. Our evening batches are popular with working professionals.
04Do you teach reading sheet music or just chords and tabs?
Both. We teach chords and tablature for quick song-playing, and introduce notation and theory for those pursuing graded exams.
