What You'll Learn
Course Description
Rooted in the lineage of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, our Ashtanga programme follows the authentic Mysore method. You learn the Primary Series posture by posture at your own pace, receiving individual adjustments and guidance even within the group room. New asanas are added only when you're ready, building a steady, breath-linked practice that grows with you over months and years.
This is a disciplined, traditional practice that develops considerable strength, stamina, and concentration. The synchronisation of breath (ujjayi), gaze (drishti), and energy locks (bandhas) creates a moving meditation. While demanding, the Mysore format makes Ashtanga accessible to dedicated beginners as well as seasoned practitioners.
